Ta-da! A new theme colour! To be honest, it’s not that I hate or am tired of staring at the previous colour (which is Pink, by the way), but I really felt that I needed a change. And so, with the laziness to create a new theme from scratch or to even search the internet for a good theme to snag, I simply changed the colour scheme. Heh.

First off, thank you so much for the lovely, lovely comments! Yes, my exams are finally over and yes, I have been busy. That might be a lame excuse to why this place is collecting dust, but take it or leave it. I was busy with exams before, but currently I’m just working my ass off on my fan sites. Frankly, I can’t exactly remember the time when I decided that I should make fan sites a hobby, but it was probably after I joined The Fan Sites Network. Believe me, there are people in the network that own over 20 fan sites, and I have to admit that I got rather influenced. Though I don’t think I can ever manage 10 fan sites, let alone 20.

I’m currently in a one-month holiday, so I’m really using all the time that I have to work on another fan site project with my good friend, Pat. And not forgetting, of course, JDepp.org! It is a pain though, to gather thousands of photos from every image agencies there is. Bleh.

Eek, why is the time when I’m blogging is always the time when my stomach decides to growl for food? I wonder if Mum still have pizzas in the fridge.

My final exams for this semester will start on October 6! Wow, I can’t believe that my 3rd semester has come to an end. I don’t think I felt it actually passed by me. Time does literally fly pretty fast!

The subjects I studied for this semester are okay, I guess. They’re mediocre; not too easy and not too difficult. In conclusion, I can totally manage them. It is so unlike the past two semesters, in which 80% of the subjects are effing tedious that I could literally feel by brain being fried up. Well, for me at least.

I really need to get this blog updated more regularly, don’t you think? It’s not that I don’t feel that it’s already updated regularly for me, but when I go to most of my friends’ blogs, I feel so small and lazy. They update like what, three times a week? :P

Oh, and thank you for the comments/suggestions/encouragements on my JDepp fan site, that’s not yet finished and opened. I am aware of the many Johnny Depp fan sites out there on the web, but like I mentioned in the previous post, I need to get one of my own up and running. It’s one of the only ways I’m good at to show my support. So thank you for the kind encouraging words; they mean a lot. :D

I’ve been a huge fan of Johnny since I saw Sleepy Hollow, and have wanted to show my support by running a fan site on him for years. I had always thought that it was too big a project to do though, so I threw away the idea many times.

After embarking on a one-day Depp movie marathon last weekend, I finally firmly told myself that that Depp fan site really need to be up and running this time! Johnny is very much a versatile actor, a committed family man and a compassionate humanitarian. There is just no way you cannot love him.

So after little thought, I bought a domain last night - jdepp.org! I’ve been playing around with the idea of a Depp fan site in my head for many years, and I am so glad that I have taken the first steps to finally bring that idea to life. :D I know that there are already many Depp fan sites out there on the web, but I just needed to run one my own. It’s one of the only ways that I’m good at to show my support. :D

I’m currently working hard on the site during my free time and hopefully it will be up and running in no time! If you are one of Johnny’s loyal fans, feel free to look forward to the grand opening! :D

I just adopted Dominic-Monaghan.org from Fan-Sites.org! :D A part of me adopted it on impulse, but heck, who cares? I had always wanted to start a Dom fansite from scratch, but never had the chance to actually do so. Therefore, Dominic-Monaghan.org, with loads of content already included, is a perfect opportunity! It needs a little bit of a revamp, though, since the previous owner kind of just stopped updating in November of last year. I just can’t wait to start. :)

In other news, my assignments are piling up! And having a number of tests over the next month or so is definitely not helping, boo. Speaking of college, despite the fact that students are not encouraged to have part-time jobs, I started teaching last week. It is only for 3 hours every Sunday, so I know in my heart that it won’t affect my studies or anything. Apart from the fact that I need extra allowances, spending just a little time on my weekends teaching cute, little kids is a perfect way to get away from all of the Uni stress for a while. :)

Are you also working part-time while attending lectures in college?

I’ve been incredibly busy with my websites and part-time job, but I’ve definitely not forgotten about this place. Blog updates have been and will be just really slow, that is all. Plus, I’m starting the new semester in University next week, eek! But hey, here I am blogging. Yay!

I’ve moved this blog to The Fan Sites Network, by the way. Refer to this entry if you want to know why I left Wordpress.com.

And with a new host, comes a new theme! Because well, if you have not found your way to that little entry yet, the main reason I moved to Gertie’s: I want to be able to use my favourite themes and such. Also, I had been eying this particular theme over at Becca’s blog for some time. Heh. I’m so happy that everything from my previous WP account at Wordpress.com has been imported to my current account here. Entries, comments, the whole nine yards! Wordpress rocks, yay! And I still don’t understand why I used to hate it so much before.

Forgive me, visitors, for not returning your comments. Aside from being a lazy ass, I’ve pretty much become a busy bee. But fret not, I will return them as soon as I can. Promise! And thank you so much for taking your time to read my humble entries and comment. You guys rock!

Well, I’d better get back to my movie. I was actually watching I Am Sam before I thought of posting my first entry as Gertie’s hostee, hee. So, excuse me while I go finish the heart-breaking but brilliant show.
