I’m actually forcing myself to update this blog, to write this post. How pathetic is that? Nyaha! :P Sometimes I wonder where all of my enthusiasm of writing a blog has gone to. *shrugs* Anyway, here I am blogging, so let’s be happy! :D

I changed the theme color to Pink/Beige - something I never thought I’d do. I was never a fan of Pink or anything even remotely related to the color Pink. But somehow, I think I’m currently a new fan! Is it because I constantly had to watch my room mate worship the Pink color everywhere she went? If you must know, she has everything Pink on her side of her room. Her table, her bed, her clothes, her accessories, you name it! And somehow, I grew from sick to somewhat amazed of looking of it, haha. So yes, maybe my room mate has something to do with me being a new Pink fan. It’s so weird, but so true. :P

I’m currently in my one-week mid-semester break, and I’m trying my very best to enjoy all the time in the world that I have in this short week. Why? Well because when Uni re-opens, we’re going to have a Convocation ceremony for last year’s graduates, and I’m unfortunately involved in every little way possible. Yay! *insert sarcasm here*

I’m looking on the bright side, though, since the boyfriend is one of the graduates I was talking about. :D Yep, he’s graduating in a few weeks and I can’t help but feel like a proud parent! :D :D

Speaking of enjoying all the time in the world, we’re going bowling with the boyfriend and some friends tomorrow! :D It’s been ages since I went bowling. I wonder if I can still hold the ball right, nyaha. :P

Where has jaimeking.net gone to? It used to be one of the best fan sites on Jaime King, but it has completely vanished since last year. I’m a huge fan of her acting, and really wouldn’t mind bringing her fan site back online and running it just to get her name out there. :)

Bleh, I’m hungry. Please excuse me while I go find something to eat, and please do excuse my growling stomach as well. :P

So I started my new semester. It has great so far - new subjects, a couple of new lecturers and new juniors. We also welcomed a new student to our class. I’m quite intimidated by her in a sense that I can no longer have a high rank in class, and am trying my very best not to look at her as my competitor. I don’t actually look at anyone as one, but I think I am looking at her as so. It’s weird having this intimidation-y and competition-y feelings. After much thought though, I’m going to be looking at all of these as a motivation to drive me to work even more harder. Faizal told me to just do my best like I have during the past semesters, and I know he is right. :)

Eek! I cannot believe that I have not updated my Chris Gorham fan site in a while. Though, to tell you the truth, it’s pretty hard to get new updates on him nowadays. Boo. In the meantime, Kathryn Morris Fan is my new baby, if anyone’s interested. :D

Ah, I actually wanted to change the theme’s color scheme to pink and beige, but I changed my mind and decided to stick to this color combo for a while. I have never been a fan of pink, except in my younger years when I wanted to be Kimberly, the pink Power Ranger. :D

I turned 20 on February 25. Time does fly pretty fast. It seems that it was only yesterday that I was receiving Barbie dolls and playhouses as presents. My 20th birthday was okay, I guess. My room mates surprised me with a party exactly at midnight, and my boyfriend took me out for a celebration at McDonalds. Haha. It’s too bad that I couldn’t celebrate it with my family, though. Oh, how I wish the exams were not just around the corner then and that I could drive home to my Mum and Dad.

My birthdays have always been about small surprise parties, minor celebrations with my family or the boyfriend. Birthdays for me have always been simple. Yet memorable. Though, receiving presents have always been my favourite part. Hehe. My friends bought me a gigantic teddy bear, which is currently comfortably seated on my bed, lol. And I received two watches this year; my boyfriend surprised me with a watch that I have been wanting to purchase since forever, and my aunt gave me a Guess, which actually cost over 700 bucks. I’ve never worn something on my wrist that costs that much. Eek!

My second semester is ending soon, in which I will be enjoying a 2-month break until early June. Yay! I can’t wait to drive home and spend some quality time with my family and boyfriend. It’s been ages since we last sat and just talked, talked and talked. I missed that.

The New Year party was okay for me. I hung out with friends, and watched the countdown over at VivoCity. AND I didn’t get drunk, which is good. Heh. I actually didn’t have any plans to go there and celebrate, but since I haven’t really had the time before to spend some time with my friends and more importantly, my boyfriend, I went. And boy, did we have a good time. Hee.

So my boyfriend and I finally got together for a movie during my two-week mid-semester break. And I think American Gangster is one of the best movies I’ve seen. My boyfriend had been wanting to watch it, and since I think Denzel Washington is so damn fine, why not? Heh.

In not lighter news, my laptop has been stolen. I had it secured in a locker at the library, because I wanted to do a lot of research in the library but I wasn’t going to use the internet. Plus if you must know, it was a very heavy laptop, and carrying it while I run around the place in search of books is not ideal. So anyway, when I returned a few hours later, my laptop was gone. There was no sign of force entry on the locker door, so I’m still scratching my head over that. A police report has been made, so I’m crossing my fingers that my beloved laptop will be retrieved.

My aunt bought me a new laptop just yesterday afternoon, though. I’m really thankful for that. She told me to accept it as a “New Year gift”, LOL. I love my aunt.

Along with a new laptop, I got myself a new phone! Sony Ericsson W960i, baby! I had been staring at the model at every little phone store I passed by for the past month, haha. It is very much like an iPhone, only slightly cheaper, I think. Or is it more expensive?

Anyway, it’s bed time for me now. I’m going to end this post by saying that it sucks that I’m still undecided on my New Year resolution. What is yours?

Happy 2008, everyone!

I start my two-week mid-semester break tomorrow, so wee! I’ve actually made plans, and ice-skating is on top of everything, lol. I NEED to ice-skate. Enough said. It’s been AGES since I even last went to Fuji Ice Palace. Tsk. School has been very bad.

It’s really difficult to find time nowadays to blog. Seriously. If I’m not having exams, I’ll be having tests. If I’m not having those nasty tests, I’ll be doing my assignments. And if I’m not working on assignments, I’ll be REVISING. So seriously, it’s not that I’m just plain lazy to update; I’m just plain busy. And that is so not a lame excuse. Heh.

Dammit, I’ve just realised that I haven’t watched the last two aired episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. It’s really weird that I don’t regard the show as one of my main priorities anymore. I actually watch ONLY when I have the time. Hm, it’s probably because I don’t find the show as interesting as the previous 3 seasons. *shrugs* Fortunately, I’m still a fan. Hee.

I miss spending time with my boyfriend. We’ve both been busy with school, so I hope this upcoming holiday will do us some justice. It’s been quite a while since we last watched a movie together. Sometimes, even little things can keep us from spending time with each other. Sigh. So yeah, even if it’s only two weeks, I hope this holiday can make up for it.
